POLICE AUDIO CAN BE FOUND AT THE END OF THIS ARTICLE: Law enforcement received a call around 1:43am on August 22nd after reports of an assault at 7-Eleven on the 400 block of Oliver Street in North Tonawanda.
The 911 caller, a third-party, told police that there was an active fight inside of the 7-Eleven where the store clerk was pinned to the floor. The caller was outside of the store watching the fight occur. The store clerk was being beaten, punched repeatedly. It is unknown what started the altercation.
Police responded to the scene and detained one male party [name included on police audio]. He was taken into custody and transported to police headquarters. No further information is available at this time…
