The City of Buffalo this month quietly took away a subsidy it granted federal immigration officials nearly a decade ago: a dozen free on-street parking spots.
The City of Buffalo’s parking bureau in 2018 designated the spots — on the east side of South Elmwood Avenue, between Chippewa and Huron streets — for use by “law enforcement vehicles only,” according to Common Council records…
