STERLING HEIGHTS/WARREN — A 42-year-old Warren man was killed Sept. 13 in a two-car crash in southwest Sterling Heights.
Sterling Heights police said the incident occurred just after 11:45 a.m. on Dequindre Road, just south of Tarry Drive, when a black Jeep Cherokee collided head-on with the victim’s blue Ford Fusion. The driver was alone in the vehicle and had to be extricated by the Sterling Heights Fire Department. The man was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
In a news release, Sterling Heights police said the Jeep was traveling south on Dequindre when it crossed through the center turn lane and collided head-on with the northbound Fusion. The Jeep’s driver, a 54-year-old Macomb County resident, suffered serious facial injuries. Three additional passengers in the Jeep were also taken to the hospital with minor injuries…
