SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) — The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is set to have their semi-annual General Conference next week. Here is what to know.
The conference, which the Church holds each year during the first weekend of April and the first weekend of October, will be held on October 3 and 4 and consists of four sessions. Sessions will be held from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays, replacing regular Sunday services.
While this conference provides a chance for members of the Church to hear from their letters, the Church also says that “all are welcome hear the word of God during the annual and semiannual broadcasts of general conference as leaders share messages of love, hope, and joy.”
