SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO)– We have been talking about more rain in KELOLAND for the end of the week, which has been common this September.
During the first half of the month, the East River had the highest rainfall totals, with several locations recording at least 4 inches of rain during this time.
The area continued to receive rain in the middle of the month, and West River was also able to get in on some of that moisture.
Hill City is one of the many locations that have been dealing with severe drought, but recently received over 3 inches of rain.
The latest drought monitor update released Thursday morning showed that this rain was enough to help bring some improvements to that area and across KELOLAND…
