Mad Greek Deli, a Westside Portland restaurant with nearly five decades of history, is set to cease operations. Owner Jake Marks announced that the restaurant at 18515 NW West Union Road will close November 28.
Mad Greek Deli to Close Westside Restaurant
Jake Marks shared through Facebook that the deli will shutter on November 28, with a farewell party planned from 11 a.m. until closing. The post added that the establishment will keep serving diners through the closing date.
According to its website, Mad Greek Deli has served the Portland community since 1977. The restaurant serves Greek and Mediterranean dishes made from scratch. Menu items include gyros, Greek salads, souvlaki, pizza, hummus, sandwiches, wings, and baklava. The Westside location also offers a 10-pound sandwich challenge.
