Tulsa’s Black Wall Street buildings get $650K in repairs

TULSA, Okla. – Crews are restoring 10 historic buildings in Tulsa’s Greenwood District as part of a $650,000 federally funded project to preserve Black Wall Street.

The project, funded by a National Park Service grant, began Monday. Crews with Brothers Masonry are replacing damaged bricks and deteriorating mortar to help protect the buildings and maintain their historic character.
