SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — Two alleged white supremacists from Riverside County were charged with hate crimes in connection with attacks near the Oceanside pier last year, according to an indictment that was unsealed in federal court Wednesday.
The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of California said in a news release Wednesday that Austin Yohe, 23, and Daniel Burns, 30, were also charged with obstruction of justice for lying to investigators about their roles in the attacks in June of 2025.
