TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — Tropical moisture lingers over the Tampa Bay area today keeping downpours possible at any time. Rain chances will stay high again today with heavier rain developing in the Gulf and moving onshore at times throughout the day. As the rain oves east, showers will lighten up a bit and the highest rainfall totals will be along the coast.
