BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — Several Kern County Sheriff’s Office employees stepped into new roles Wednesday during a promotion ceremony that also highlighted what happens when employees move up within the department.
Sheriff Donny Youngblood said promotions can create openings in lower-ranking positions as employees advance.
