FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif. (KTLA/KSEE) – “The wait is almost over” as Sweet Tomatoes has officially revealed where in California it will be making its return.
Sweet Tomatoes teased the comeback in an Instagram post on Monday. The post featured an image of a “Welcome to California” sign with the short caption: “Stay tuned…” On Wednesday, they announced that Fountain Valley in Orange County was going to be where the new location would be built.
Sweet Tomatoes, and its sister brand Souplantation, are no stranger to California. It launched in San Diego in 1978. According to Newsweek, the “first location of Souplantation aspired to be ‘the first casual eatery brand to serve fresh, wholesome menu options.’”…
