San Francisco, CA—First Liberty Institute, Williams & Connolly, and Church State Council filed an opening brief at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuiton behalf of eight Redmond, Washington firefighters who were denied religious accommodations from the COVID-19 vaccine and ultimately fired for their faith. The firefighters are appealing a decision of the Western District of Washington upholding the RedmondFire Department’s discriminatory treatment.
