New Castle County appears poised to greatly expand its electronic speed camera program.
The county has already received $379,388 in speeding ticket revenue from its two cameras that were placed on McKennans Church Road and Milltown Road in April.
Those cameras beginning flashing for tickets at just 6 m.p.h. over the speed limit, a tighter threshold than DelDOT’s cameras on I-95 and Route 1, or the Newark camera which has already changed locations two times, which start at 11 m.p.h…
