Much colder morning across Kansas

WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – It is a dry but much colder morning across Kansas with wake-up temperatures in the 30s and lower 40s and when you factor in the breeze, it feels several degrees colder. However, later today sunny skies will take temperatures into the lower 60s which is near normal for early November.

Our next weather maker will begin moving across the state tonight and linger through Thursday. While rain is a safe bet, mainly along and south of highway 400, neither heavy rain nor severe weather is expected with this storm system. Rainfall amounts will generally be less than a quarter of an inch.

A quiet Friday with near normal temperatures will be followed by a sizeable warm-up this weekend. Highs in the middle 60s on Saturday will be replaced by afternoon temperatures near 70 degrees on Sunday…
