The family of an Anaheim woman found dead inside a motel room earlier this month is speaking out for the first time as they raise money to lay the mother of three to rest.
Jasmine Miranda, 38, was found dead inside a room at the Kona Inn Motel on Aug. 18 after officers were called to the property for a welfare check. A motel employee had gone to check on Miranda after she failed to check out and found her deceased inside the room.
Police said Miranda suffered traumatic injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Her boyfriend, 43-year-old Anaheim resident Oscar Velasquez, was arrested the following day on suspicion of murder…
