Multiple high-temperature records broken

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) – Multiple records are in jeopardy for today. This morning all NWS-monitored sites, N. Myrtle Beach, Florence, and Lumberton, surpassed daily records for the warmest low temperature. Climatologically speaking, the low temperature for the day is observed between 4 a.m. and 7 a.m.; however, sometimes the daily low temperature could be in the evening if much cold air rushes in throughout the day; meaning these records are not official, but by midnight we are only expected to cool into the mid-60s. Warm low-temperature records are 56, 63, and 59 degrees for North Myrtle Beach, Florence, and Lumberton, respectively.
