CONYERS — The Conyers City Council voted 4-2 to approve a special use permit for a 100-space tractor-trailer parking facility on East Park Drive, despite concerns about increased truck traffic, road deterioration, and the potential effects on nearby neighborhoods and schools.
The Oct. 21approval allows a tractor-trailer parking facility on approximately 8.6 acres at 2019 East Park Drive NE in the Conyers-Rockdale Industrial Park, near the intersection of Sigman Road and East Park Drive.
