A home in the Village of Bridgeport at Lake Sumter that has waterfront views was just sold for $3.7 million, fetching nearly four times its original purchase price.
Jodi and Robert Elliott sold the waterfront property located at 1176 Russell Loop to a Wyoming limited liability company (1176 Russesll Loop LLC) for $3,700,000 on August 25, according to a deed filed with the Sumter County Clerk of Courts.
The 0.498-acre lot, which boasts a prime waterfront view along Lake Sumter, was originally purchased new from The Villages in October 2006 by Jack R. Gower for $1,041,400.
