(WJW) — Strong storms swept through Northeast Ohio Sunday afternoon, downing trees and power lines across the region.

A Ferris wheel at the Old Firehouse Winery in Geneva-On-The-Lake was blown over.
A tree snapped near the University Heights City Hall building, sending a large portion of the trunk and branches crashing to the ground.
In Shaker Heights, a tree appeared to bend and fall onto a home. It’s not clear how much damage was done.
Thousands of people were without power late Sunday afternoon.
