CLEVELAND (WJW) — A police chase that started in Garfield Heights ended in Cleveland Wednesday morning after the fleeing car clipped the side of a building.

A Fox 8 photographer captured the scene and police activity at E. 131st and Marston Avenue around 1:40 a.m. on June 17, where the chase appeared to have ended.
Several people ran from the vehicle after it hit the building that houses Tomorrow’s Leaders Childcare & Enrichment Center. They were taken into custody after a short foot chase.

One person was reportedly taken to a hospital by Cleveland EMS.
A Garfield Heights police vehicle was also damaged during the chase.
