Local woman wins $100K on Ohio Lottery Cash Explosion show

MEDINA, Ohio (WJW) — Dreams do come true.

After more than 30 years of trying, a Medina woman finally got a chance to appear on the Ohio Lottery Cash Explosion show not once, but twice, winning $100,000 in the process.

Mary made her first appearance on the weekly lottery show on April 11, winning $50,000. She then came back and won another $50,000 on April 18, according to the Ohio Lottery.

After state and federal taxes, she received a total of $73,250.

Mary said she put some of the money towards her car and added brick veneer to her home, but she wants to hold off on any other projects for the time being, according to the Ohio Lottery.
