Wadsworth residents raise concerns over proposed College Street rezoning

WADSWORTH — Wadsworth City Council discussed a proposed rezoning that could allow residential development on three vacant College Street lots that drew opposition from nearby residents during Tuesday’s meeting.

The ordinance would change the zoning classification of city lots 5049 and 5050 from R-1 residential to R-2 residential and change lot 5051 from College Street Gateway commercial to R-2 residential.
