(WJW) – Drivers in Northeast Ohio should expect sobriety checkpoints this week as law enforcement agencies step up efforts to catch impaired drivers.
The Summit County OVI Task Force will conduct sobriety checkpoints across the county on Friday, Aug. 28, into the early morning hours of Saturday, Aug. 29, according to the Summit County Sheriff’s Office.

The Brook Park Police Department also plans to conduct an OVI sobriety checkpoint.
