CANAL FULTON, Ohio (WOIO) — Northwest Local Schools Superintendent Shawn Braman confirmed the district’s band director is under investigation by Canal Fulton Police, according to a letter sent to the school community.
Braman said the district was notified of the allegations by Canal Fulton Police on Aug. 16, 2026. The director, who not been charged, was placed on leave the following day, Aug. 17, 2026.
