Man found dead on vacant Lorain property identified: Detectives

LORAIN, Ohio (WJW) — Lorain police detectives have identified a man found dead on a vacant property earlier this month.

Officers were first called to the 1200 block of Washington Avenue at about 9:30 a.m. on Aug. 20 after owners of the property found the man’s body.

63-year-old killed in Akron, shot in head at gas station

Upon arrival, investigators said they believed the man had been there for at least several days.

On Monday, police identified the man as 59-year-old Jorge Pabon of Lorain. They said they believe the man was shot on the property where he had been found and died there.
