An Akron 17-year-old boy is being held at the Summit County Juvenile Detention Facility following a shooting at a McDonald’s in Barberton Monday afternoon.
“I didn’t know what was going on outside. You don’t know if they were just shooting at random people. You don’t know if they’re shooting at somebody, so I wanted to keep my customers in here safe,” said Jeremy Espie, a bartender at Block 7 Bar & Grill.
