A $56 million project to expand Interstate 77 to three lanes in both directions between Ghent Road and Everett Road in Summit County is on track for completion almost a full year ahead of schedule.
The project, which started in 2025, had an estimated completion time of summer 2027. The Ohio Department of Transportation says the project might be completed much sooner.
