AKRON, Ohio (WOIO) – An Akron woman was convicted in connection with a January 2023 crash on Interstate 480 that killed a 30-year-old man, according to the Summit County prosecutor.
Summit County Prosecutor Elliot Kolkovich announced the conviction of 28-year-old Africa Watson.
According to a release from Kolkovich, Watson was found guilty of the following charges:
- One count of aggravated vehicular homicide
- One count of operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol, a drug of abuse or a combination of them
