RAVENNA, Ohio (WJW) — Minor injuries were reported in a crash involving a school bus in Ravenna Township, Portage County, Friday.
According to a news release from the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the crash happened just before 7:45 a.m. when the bus was transporting kids to school. Troopers reported the crash occurred on Cleveland Road near Lovers Lane in Ravenna Township.

A 24-year-old Streetsboro woman was driving the school bus southeast on Cleveland Road when she went left-of-center and hit a pickup truck in the oncoming lane being driven by a 35-year-old Ravenna man.
The school bus then traveled off the northeast side of Cleveland Road, hit a mailbox, concrete steps and an embankment.

There were minor injuries, but no one from either vehicle was transported by EMS, according to the release.
