Drug and Traffic Offense
Officers stopped a black Dodge Dart on Old Eight Valley View Road on Sept. 9 after noticing an issue with the vehicle’s license plate display. The stop turned up a marijuana blunt, a scale, a glass pipe with marijuana residue, a second marijuana blunt and a sealed bag of Kush Mintz marijuana. Police arrested a woman, 18, of Maple Heights. She faces charges of drug paraphernalia, improper display of license plates and failure to reinstate a driver’s license.
OVI Arrest
A private property crash sent officers to a parking lot on West Aurora Road on Sept. 16. Callers told dispatchers the driver may have passed out behind the wheel. Police arrested a woman, 33, of Northfield. She was charged with operating a vehicle impaired by drugs or alcohol and with refusal after a prior OVI conviction within the past 20 years…
