COPLEY — The Copley Township Board of Trustees Sept. 14 approved the first formal step in establishing a regional water and sewer district, known at this time as the Copley Water and Sewer District.
At the board meeting, trustees approved filing a petition with the Summit County Clerk of Court for Common Pleas for the creation and organization of the regional water and sewer district. Township Administrator Greg Tracy said the township will next hold a public meeting where township legal counsel and consultants will share information about the proposed district.
