CANTON − Cancel those dinner reservations at Scratch Steakhouse and Lounge.
The fine dining restaurant, known for steaks, seafood, chops and pasta, was to open downtown next month. Owner and chef Demond Germany had outlined his plans in a Repository story in August. In the weeks since, he’d shared details on social media about everything from a hiring event to a peek at the tableware.
However, those plans fell apart…
