720 Market draws record crowd to downtown Hartville

Saturday, Oct. 3, was a gorgeous day for the 720 Market in historic downtown Hartville. The number of people who came out was historic also, considerably higher than last year’s event, which was thought to be hard to beat.

Lake Township Chamber of Commerce President Chip Weisel was ecstatic with the way the day unfolded and stated, “We even ran out of beer 20 to 30 minutes before it ended at 3 p.m.”

The giant turnout meant that the businesses that participated in the 720 Market, including the Shops on Sunnyside and the businesses in Schumacker Plaza and on Prospect Avenue, had excellent vendor traffic. It was a beautiful fall shopping excursion for those who came.

Parking filled up early and completely, including the lots at Lake Elementary School and other lots, as families came to take part in this event…
