East Elementary School in Newcomerstown, 137 S. College St., is collecting LEGO sets for children receiving care at Akron Children’s Pediatrics through Jaxon’s Bricks for Bravery, an initiative established by the parents of Jaxon Britton in his memory.
Jaxon, a former East Elementary kindergarten student, had a congenital heart defect. His parents created the program to bring comfort and joy to children facing medical challenges.
Last year’s drive collected 173 LEGO sets. This year’s goal is 200 sets by Nov. 13…
