CLEVELAND, OH — Don’t let the record fool you. Archbishop Hoban entered the postseason with just three victories, but the Knights reminded everyone Friday night why they’re one of Northeast Ohio’s most dangerous playoff programs.
Behind three touchdown passes from quarterback Major Cribbs, a strong rushing performance from Kahlil Diming, and a dominant defensive effort, 10th-seeded Hoban rolled past seventh-seeded Villa Angela-St. Joseph, 38-7, in the opening round of the OHSAA Division II, Region 5 playoffs.
The Knights broke open a 7-7 contest with 31 unanswered points, turning a competitive first half into a convincing postseason victory that sets up another chapter in their rivalry with Walsh Jesuit. Yahoo Sports +1…
