A Topgolf indoor/outdoor driving range and recreation facility is proposed near Warren Road and Interstate 275 as part of a new development on the east side of Canton Township . Other confirmed tenants on the 55-acre lot include a four-story hotel, a Chick-fil-A , and a Portillo’s restaurant .
The project is proposed on a 55-acre site bordered by Warren Road and Ford Road to the north and south, and Interstate 275 and Lotz Road to the west and east. A conditional rezoning request has been approved by the planning commission following the township planning department’s recommendations. However, the remaining application is put on hold until a traffic impact study review letter is received due to concerns related to the ongoing design of the Ford Road boulevard project.
