AKRON , Ohio (WJW) — Police tracking the phone of a Domino’s pizza delivery driver who was robbed at gunpoint on Sunday found two boys, ages 14 and 16, who were then charged in the robbery.
The 21-year-old delivery driver told police he was robbed at gunpoint in the 50 block of East Mapledale Avenue at about 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, according to a news release from Akron police.

The victim said the suspects took his vehicle and an unknown amount in cash at gunpoint while he was making a delivery.
Officers tracked the victim’s vehicle to the intersection of East Emerling Avenue and Grant Street using the GPS on the victim’s phone, which was left inside the car.

As officers moved in on the stolen car, they saw two boys, ages 14 and 16, walking away. They were detained for questioning at the police station.
Officers searching one of the suspect’s Sherman Street residence found a gun believed to have been used in the robbery, along with a Domino’s pizza box, according to the release.
