Over $64,000 raised during Chippewa Lake Polar Bear Jump & Fun Run/Walk

CHIPPEWA LAKE – Over 130 people participated in the Chippewa Lake Lions Club Foundation’s Polar Bear Jump & Fun Run/Walk on Saturday. Committee Chair Alan Robbins said that 138 people participated in the 14th year of the jump, with several participants returning from prior years, as well as several new faces. The event is a large fundraiser for the organization with money being generated through a participation cost, sponsorships, and raffles. Robbins said that by the end of the event the organization had raised over $64,000. Robbins said that the money raised will be utilized by local organizations that will help those in need.
