The Cuyahoga County Treasurer’s Office has issued a notice about property tax bills. Some residents have not received their statements in the mail. The office reminds residents that property taxes are due by February 15, 2024. Payments can cover either the first half or the entire year. Residents without bills should call 1-877-738-1212 for a resend.
The Treasurer’s Office offers several payment options. Residents can pay online at the Cuyahoga County website. An account is required. Payments can be made by e-check or credit/debit card. Fees apply for card payments. Debit cards incur a $2.95 fee and credit cards are charged 2.3% with a minimum of $1.50.
Residents can also pay by phone at 1-877-738-1212. Payment methods include debit/credit card or e-check. A Star/Asterisk is required within the parcel number. Fees for card payments are the same as online payments.
In-person payments can be made at the Treasurer’s Office at 2079 East 9th Street, 1st Floor, Cleveland, OH 44115. Office hours are 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday. The kiosk accepts checks and cash. The Cashier’s office accepts check, money order, debit or credit card, and cash.
