AKRON, Ohio (WJW) – Three men were arrested after being found with guns during traffic stops in Akron Tuesday night.
According to a press release from the Akron Police Department, officers stopped a vehicle on the 900 block of Dan Street around 8 p.m. for a traffic violation.

A 20-year-old passenger was found with a loaded handgun when he got out of the car. A 19-year-old, who was driving the vehicle, was also found with a handgun under his seat.
Both men were arrested and charged with carrying a concealed weapon and improper handling of a firearm in a motor vehicle, according to the release.
They were both booked into the Summit County Jail.
Just a few hours later, a 26-year-old man was also arrested.
According to the release, officers saw a vehicle run a red light at Brown and Baird Streets around 11 p.m. They pulled over that vehicle and detected a “strong odor of marijuana,” the release said.
