In December, the restaurant Shirley’s Diner – which was located in Canton at 4404 Belden Village St NW – suddenly closed its doors for good after being open for less than two months, as detailed in this article from the Canton Repository. Now, only a few months after the closure of Shirley’s Diner, a new restaurant is already set to take its place this Friday.
On February 9 at 10:30 AM, the restaurant Cool Cat’s Counter is set to have its grand opening at 4404 Belden Village St NW, according to this Facebook event page from the new restaurant. Per the restaurant’s social media account, Cool Cat’s Counter is a “50s style fast casual diner.”
To celebrate its grand opening, children aged under 12 will be able to eat for free on February 10 from 3 PM to 10 PM with the purchase of an adult entree for each child.
If you want to check out the restaurant when it opens, you can find it at 4404 Belden Village St NW, Canton, OH 44718.
