Akron police are seeking information on a hit-skip Friday that left an electric bike rider hospitalized in serious condition.
The crash took place a few minutes after 4 p.m. on S. Arlington Street near Ray Street in East Akron.

Police said the 47-year-old man was riding north in what police believe was a bike lane when a vehicle traveling north in the same direction struck the victim on the bike and fled the scene.
The victim was taken to Summa Health in Akron with serious injuries, police said.
So far, the only description of the vehicle involved is that it was white in color.
