1 shot, 1 struck by car in Pearl Road parking lot

PARMA HEIGHTS , Ohio (WJW) — Two people were transported to a hospital following a Thursday night incident “involving multiple people” in a Pearl Road parking lot.

Just after 11 p.m., one person was shot and another was struck by a car in the parking lot of the Twin Lakes Building, 5851 Pearl Road, according to Parma Heights police Detective Eric Taylor.

As of early Friday morning, one person had been released from the hospital, while the other was still being treated, Taylor said.

“Our entire Detective Bureau has been actively working this incident since [Thursday] night and we will continue through the weekend,” Taylor wrote.

No further information was available on Friday afternoon.
