One of the Akron Symphony’s most popular concerts – and one of its most community-facing – is its annual Gospel Meets Symphony evening, taking place as usual at the University of Akron’s E.J. Thomas Hall. Each year the Gospel Meets Symphony Choir is assembled from outstanding voices coming from churches across the Akron area. And the Gospel Meets Symphony 2.0 Choir features the next generation’s powerhouse singers.
