Akron had its national Super Bowl moment, long after most fans went to bed for the night

Akron had its Super Bowl moment − well after the touchdown that won it for Kansas City and confetti rained down on Taylor Swift’s head.

The Rubber City’s moment on the biggest night for sports came long after most fans called it a night and went to bed.

Akron had its brief moment in the spotlight about midway through the much ballyhooed premiere on CBS of its new show ” Tracker ” that premiered after the Super Bowl.

The city had a mention in the midst of the telling of the backstory of Colter Shaw, portrayed by Justin Hartley.

Shaw is a tracker of missing people and one of his more notable cases, according the show, was his role in finding a missing person in Akron.
