Two Ohio men arrested for alleged drug trafficking

HARRISON COUNTY, Ohio (WTRF) — Harrison County Sheriff Joe Myers announced the arrest of two Ohio men for their alleged involvement in drug trafficking.

According to Myers, Shayne Kerwood, of Scio, was arrested Wednesday morning on felony warrants accompanied by a search warrant of his home for illegal narcotics.

Bre’Ondre Youngblood, of Akron, was arrested during a controlled delivery of fentanyl investigation involving Kerwood.

Myers says the arrests were the result of undercover controlled buy operations and a controlled delivery operation.

A large amount of suspected fentanyl was seized, as well as items used for the trafficking of narcotics.

Kerwood was charged with Trafficking in Drugs, a fourth-degree felony.

Youngblood was charged with Trafficking in Drugs, a second-degree felony, and Tampering with Evidence, a third-degree felony.

Sheriff Myers would like to thank the Belmont County and Jefferson County Sheriff’s Offices involved in the investigation and the Harrison County Sheriff’s Department deputies for continuing to work hard to keep dangerous drugs out of Harrison County.
