A new restaurant has come to replace the former location of Shirley’s Diner in Canton.
In December, the restaurant Shirley’s Diner – which was located in Canton at 4404 Belden Village St NW – suddenly closed its doors for good after being open for less than two months, as detailed in this article from the Canton Repository. On February 9, a new restaurant called Cool Cat’s Counter took its place.
Cool Cat’s Counter’s menu features classic diner fare. The restaurant serves a variety of sliders including beef sliders like hamburgers, cheeseburgers, Reuben burgers, mushroom & Swiss, and more; chicken sliders like grilled BBQ, bacon ranch, fajita chicken, buffalo ranch, and chicken parmesan; vegetarian sliders like grilled cheese, Impossible, and fajita black bean; and shrimp cake sliders.
Also on the menu are all-beef hot dogs. You can get plain hot dogs as well as cheese dogs, slaw dogs, kraut dogs, mac dogs, and Coneys. Furthermore, the diner offers some pasta dishes like spaghetti with red sauce, spaghetti with meat sauce, and spaghetti with meat sauce & meatballs as well as a variety of mac & cheese options: plain mac, mac with Coney sauce, grilled BBQ chicken mac, fried buffalo chicken mac, seafood mac, and fajita black bean mac.
