AKRON, Ohio – The Akron Zoo is offering adults a unique way to celebrate African lions. The zoo will host its “Roars ‘N Pours” event on Saturday, May 11, to give a toast to the “king of the beasts.” The event, which goes from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., features beer and wine from local breweries and wineries, as well as several ways to get to know lions a little bit better.
