(WJW) — A pair of Amazon delivery drivers have been honored for their heroic actions after they saved a woman and her children.
The North Lawrence Fire Department awarded certificates of commendation to Alexis Pickett and Damien Patterson this week.

Back on June 9th, the married couple was out delivering packages when they witnessed a mom flip her mini-van along state Route 94 in Wayne County.
The van ended up in a cornfield surrounded by downed wires.
Alexis and Damien didn’t think twice before jumping into action.
The mother who was rescued couldn’t be at the ceremony, but she’s grateful they were being honored for their actions.
