Adorable photos: Fawns cool off in local pool

STOW , Ohio (WJW) — When the summer weather tops 90 degrees (and feels hotter than 100) a quick dip in the pool is just the ticket — even for our furry neighbors.

It’s not unusual for d eer to visit Kristina Fultz’ Stow home. It happens nearly daily, she told FOX 8 News.

But during the recent Northeast Ohio heat wave , she snapped photos of several little fawns splashing about in her backyard pool, while their mother watched over them.

“I was about to take my 3-year-old twin boys Waylon and Jensen out to go in the pool, and I heard my one son Jensen say, ‘Oh my gosh,’” Fultz said. “The baby deer were jumping around having a good old time, so we [watched] them for a couple minutes. I just thought this was the coolest thing, so I grabbed my phone to get some pictures because no one would believe it.”

She showed off the cute pictures to friends and family, then shared it with a Stow Facebook group, garnering nearly 1,000 reactions and comments.
